John Wesley Hardin was born on May 26, 1853, in Bonham, Texas. He was one of the most feared gunman in Texas. He could draw his gun very fast, some people think he was the fastest gun alive in the Wild West. When John was 15, in 1868, he got into a fight at his uncle's house, and killed a slave who was working there. He knew he could be arrested or killed for this, so he ranaway to his friends farm in Sumpter, Texas. On July 19, 1895, in the Acme Saloon, John Hardin was killed by John Selman.
